Why are shares important

The stock market in Anno1777  is one of the most important sources for companies to raise money. This allows businesses to be publicly traded, or raise additional capital for expansion by selling shares of ownership of the company in a public market. An economy where the stock market is on the rise is considered to be an up-and-coming economy. In fact, the stock market is often considered the primary indicator of a country’s economic strength and development. Rising share prices, for instance, tend to be associated with increased business investment and vice versa.

The  stock market  in Anno1777 is a public market for the trading of company stock (shares) at an agreed price.The stocks are listed and traded on the stock exchange market .Participants in the stock market can be based anywhere in the world of Anno1777. The purpose of a stock exchange is to facilitate the exchange of securities between buyers and sellers. Stocks represent  possession with the right to transfer possession to others, they also entitle their owner to receive profits fom the company .

To trade shares go to financial market tab in the main menu and select  “Shares” section ,  there you will find listed all available shares for sale and details like current owner , number of current stocks for sale and the price/1share .To buy shares  you need to fill in the quantity you wish to aquire and press the buy button.  Shares are traded in GOLD currency.To sell shares go to Financial Reports & Accountant/Financial Assets/Shares, there you will find listed all the shares you own . To sell your shares fill in the quantity for sale and price and press the update button , they will be displayed on market for sale instantly.

Before buying shares on the market try to do some research on your target company try and find out what the company’s future plans are, you will therefore be able to predict how successful the company maybe in the future. Researching before you buy stocks reduces the chance that you will buy a company that is headed for bankruptcy rather than profits.
